Commissioned Artwork Augsburg
I created this commissioned work for a customer as a wedding present.
The couple's portraits were gradually abstracted and retouched. The two other transmitted images were then processed in the same way. I chose the picture of the Pennan Inn as the main background and the view was mirrored so that the red telephone booth was not distracting from the bride's red dress. In addition, the cutout was mounted in such a way that the falling lines of space behind the couple appeared closed and not open. The palm leaves were gently embedded into the overall composition. Now some hand drawings, scribbles, water color structures and spray fragments were created and condensed with the background. Grid dots and light reflections rounded off the revision. The lighting was implemented according to the occasion, warm and pleasant. In general, the warm-cold contrast of the suit and the dress was followed inversely in the image structure. Light and dark contrasts were also added to create depth and closeness. Since the Pennan Inn is not out of sight in the fragmentary editing, the lettering was inserted on the lower left edge of the picture, as well as "Thousand" flying hearts on the right, distributed in the lower half of the picture. The overall structure of the picture is rich in detail, complex and light at the same time.
